Should i keep my maverick 30 and barrel swap to 25 really wanting a dynamic in 30

I would as I wouldn't want only an expensive.30 cal to shoot. Could always sell the .30 cal barrel kit. What length is the mav .30 barrel ?

I've had Fx maverick and still own the second one. They're great in general.

The Maverick/Wildcat is a great platform and very adjustable, but simpler. MY Wildcat MK3 VP in .25 cal is deadly accurate with 25.4 gr pellets. I could never warm up to the Dynamic design.

Before making your decision, watch whatever youtube videos you can find that shows a full dissasembly and reassembly of the rifle. It's very eye-opening when you find out that the rifle you think you want actually has parts/assemblies that can only be serviced by the manufacturer. Even if the rifle can be rebuilt by the end user it may still influence your decision.

Maverick and Wildcat MK3 are relatively simple. I watched a disassembly video of a Panthera when they came out. It made me so frickin' glad I got a Maverick (and then eliminated one reg to make it a single reg rifle -- 6 less O-rings) instead of a newer FX rifle.

If you cannot find a disassembly/reassembly video for the rifle you are condsidering buying, then beware.

I've tried hard to not respond to this post as I just don't see the Maverick as a good choice for .25.

I'm set up for .30 slugs and she is as perfect as a gun can be. In .25, she was a complete turd,

With pellets, she was a dream but that was not the plan.

I'd get the Dynamic and see if the slug issue has been solved in .25.
