FX Maverick dual regulator

Hello.

So i just bought FX Maverick VP .22. I set the regulators 100/125 bar. Question is do i need to charge the airtank when it reaches 125 or the 100 bar?

My 25 VP is set to 125/150. I refill when it gets to 150. My understanding is it refills the plenum a tiny bit faster. Going under 150 shouldn't negatively affect your shooting however.

Technically you can run it down to 100bar, but for best performance I'd top off at your first reg pressure of 125bar.

Haha, that's what I meant also. 150 for my setup, 125 for the op......ie, first reg setting.

To clarify and simplify, in a 2 regulator gun, the first regulator is the one right after the bottle/air source, the second one is the pressure the pellet sees. Reversing these numbers only creates confusion to newer users. Correctly stated, your first reg is at 125 and your second reg is at 100. Fill your gun when it reaches 100 bar unless your POI/accuracy degrades from going under 150.

My Maverick .22 is getting 100++ shots with 18 grain pellets shooting 945 fps and regs set @ 110/85.

Wow that shot count seems low. I have the .30 VP reg at 155/118. 50gr at 885 63 shots unless you have a small bottle mine has a 580cc bottle. In .22 cal its a little over 150

Sorry about the confusion about the shot count. That is were I stopped chrono. it gets allot more shots than the 42 shots stated above.
