Chasing power with this gun I have found a few weak spots, namely the cocking rod. I have bent a couple stock rods, made my own hardened rod which I snapped, and broke the rod return guide. So, in talking with Rallyshark I decided to somewhat copy his set up. Now the return guide is made from stainless so it won't flex and snap off. And the secondary rod is just a guide rod that is solidly fixed with a set screw in the front scope mount and also goes full length into the second scope mount. I think now I have something that will last.

How’s the sear holding up?
Reason I ask…I acquired a WC BT recently that somebody also tried to get extra power.
Everything from the cocking action to the trigger assembly was buggered up.
Awesome service as FX offers…they took the gun in and made it new.
