FX Maverick cocking handle pivot bolt - works its way out :-(

Greetings! Wanted to warn other Maverick owners, there's a tiny (special) bolt that serves as the pivot point for the cocking handle/lever. Mine managed to back itself out, and disappear. Took over a week to get a replacement from FX. It's a very unique design as the handle shouldn't pivot upon threads, so the bolt is smooth most of its length, and only threaded on the very top, where it terminates as a 1.5mm Allen. Check yours to make sure it isn't backing out. D

Not overly unique, but its small size for that type of fastener is.
Called in the industry as a, "shoulder bolt".

And it shouldered it way out. IMHO it's an official dumb design, it is the entire support/pivot point for the cocking handle. There is a gap of .007" between the handle and the ears so all of the stress is on that little shoulder bolt and the aluminum handle. I understand why they used such a small bolt but with a shoulder bushing to get rid of the gap and provide some support it'd work.
