FX M4 - Testing Moderators

Now that I have the M4 adjusted for velocity I started testing various moderators.
FX that came with rifle, very basic
Impulse Air 1350
Donny FL RYU - screw on version
Donny FL Yokozuna - screw on version
Donny FL Tatsu

so I tested all of them, the ones with sections removing a section one at a time. Most provided good results. The very best, most accurate and consistent is the one that came with the rifle. Plenty quiet and the slugs just land on top of each other. Obviously this is my gun only. Shooting NSA 31.2 .218 slugs at 1010fps.

I was just surprised how well the factory one performed. Basically a hollow tube and lightest of the bunch.

Do you have the 700 or 800 verison? Just curious.

Is it possible to buy the FX stock moderator? can't seems to fine it online.

it works so well on my M4, quieter and lighter than the Terminador, would love to get one for my Avenge X. LOL
I just ran across this thread. I have the same question. Where/Who sells the FX factory supplied moderator.

I have 30 cal M3, stock FX can and DonnyFL Yokozuma, screw one version, Donny is just little bit better, after you play around removed 2 small sections from Donny, it works very well now, but the biggest selling point of Donny was it made my groups better, it acted like the tuner at the end of the barrel, with the FX can, my groups did not do as well as with Donny, just something else to consider

Not realy a moderator since its a supressor for PB, but it sure does a damn good job 😁
