FX M3. gauges?

Wika on the second reg

no name on the first reg

Wika on the bottle.

Should the lucky owner of a M3 buy themselves a Keller manometer to fit to the second reg, or, should they upgrade to 300bar ( making the 250bar bottle gauge insufficient*), would they be able to swap either of these "wika" to the first reg?.

* Thanks to dapackers for bringing this information to the fore.

good luck.

Sure you can put the Wika there (no quotes as it's made by Wika).

The small FX gauge is a misfit even on a Discovery. What a POS. The best I’ve seen from one was “only” 20 bar off. Luckily the Canadian dealer I bought my impact from agreed and sent me the upgrade. Why on earth does FX insist on still using these? I wouldn’t buy a watch that was 10% off every time I wanted to tell the time. I presently own one FX product , I guarantee it will be my last. Simply not worth the price they ask for their products , hype and great marketing drives the prices up. If I knew then what I know now ...... I would have bought a Thomas.

Well then haha. I love my Maverick and Impact MkII if I didn't just get a Maverick id probably go for the M3. I haven't ever shot a Thomas, but side by side with some models other brands like Leishy or even a Redwolf against my Maverick.... id pick my PCP's with FX all day, 20 Bar off though I mean unless you have digital really doesn't mean anything at least to me. The notches are general even on Wika gauges they aren't blown up to the exact bar. I saw in the Promo for the M3 they were gonna be releasing Digital gauges.

Steve-I, I once ask a similar question, The responses ranged from the, Because they are type, to the more believable and helpful, They (digital) give a more precise readable reading ie you see 120bar ect instead of, the needle is sitting somewhere between 140bar and 160bar.

Glem, yenniedn, thank you, that clears it up.

Glem, the quotes where not to suggest calling them Wika was a lie, but due to my repeated use of the word (wika) in my comment, Grammar is one of my many failings.

good luck.

Didn't mean to come off as a prick. Have you tried the sekhmet gauges? I think they're basically the perfect digital gauge. Big fan of the wikas also, white face or the black ones.

Harry, I hope you realize that that digital gauges are NOT more accurate because they are digital. I understand that many people think digital anything is more accurate than analogue, but hose folks do not know how the stuff really works.Of course there are good and bad with everything, but to state digital is more accurate than analogue is simply ignorance.

Same with mine, as yenniedn's. 3 wika's and they're still about 10 bar off

How do you know that? What is your reference? I think all you know is there is a difference of 10 bar. It doesn't really matter in the end, does it?

So I just received my other M3 from Baker Airguns and came without the crappy small FX gauge on the 1st regulator. I'm not sure if this is a change that FX made or if this is something Baker Airguns did - but all three gauges on this M3 are the black WIKA labeled gauges.

I was told last week by a reliable source that FX made the change, and my bronze .25 600mm will not have any FX gauges.
