Am currently waiting on my fx king .22 600mm fac am wondering what weight slugs should I been going for as standard straight out the box without upgrading anything as I’ve heard of people up grading the hammer to heavier one to fire heavier slugs over 30gr or going heavier is ok ,any info would be appreciated as it’s my first fac slug gun and new to it all

If they haven't changed anything and the .22 king still comes with the 4mm or 11.5 gram hammer, 30gr slugs is its sweet spot. Going up from there, the gun will struggle if you plan on slinging them in the upper 900's.

I’m shooting a Panthera 600mm .22 with a Superior Heavy liner. It’s full factory spec except that I added a second bottle up front for more air capacity. The Panthera and King are very very similar if not the same internally. I’m having tremendous success with the H&N .217 30 grain tuned to 950 fps.

Yes same airgun apparently, I’ve been told to try H&N 27gr and 30gr so it’s a starting point

Did you grab the one on Utah’s used page ? I would just mess with it in out of the box form and see what results you get. For example I’ve run across a few mavericks where people have jumped right into sticking the slug power kits in but are running a standard superior liner. The slugs that run well in the standard liner very well may have been driven fast enough by the gun in stock form.
