FX impact with ATN 5-20 scope -point of impact change (changing zero)

Does anyone know or have thought about once your do the one -shot zero with the ATN scope and have it dialed in.. What happens when your change barrels.Does point of target impact change dramatically?

So my question I have a 700mm barrel but in order for it to fit in the case I need to remove the barrel... If I do this and then place the same barrel back on.. will it hold the zero if the scope is not moved or changed. since the barrel simply slides out... I would love to hear everyone opinion on this.. Would make the differencee in having to buy and new case or not....

I second that close but no cigar. I remove my scope and my barrel often and sometimes the gun is really close to poi other times it's off an inch less often two. If you want your poi to remain constant you will need a new case if the old one requires you to remove the barrel. I am lucky I just have to remove my moderator to fit mine in the case.

It’s been a work in progress. I have the slug liner on there but only had luck at distance and then it’s not backyard friendly. I think I am going to be switching back to JSBs in the 700mm . The scope is great so far.. defiantly let’s you know how you missed your shot. I really need to spend some time at the range with a chronic.. that’s coming soon .. More to come there

The slug barrels do take some precise tuning to get them just right. In my experience the slugs match or beat the pellets in accuracy after a good tune. As far as backyard friendly is concerned you have all of the adjustments available to make it so. If you just turn down your power adjuster you can make it quiet and not loose your tune. When I change to my .177 barrel I turn the power adjuster down to 1 and the thing shoots that tiny pellet great and is very quiet as well.
