Hi, i just went through the process of installing power plenum on my .25 FX Impact MKII and through the process of my first tune. Below os the picture of my final Chronograph. I keep getting these random 884 fps at times. Trying to tune for 895FPS with the 24 gr JSB Kings. I don't know if these drops of fps are normal to these guns or if there is something wrong with it. Any help will be greatly appreciated since i can not take it to a dealer in my country.

What is your reg setting. I've noticed if the reg was set too high and the plenum didn't get a good gulp of air you could get the odd high or low number.
Dont have a 25. But imagine you could hit that velocity goal a 90- 100 bar setting.

I'd give it a tin of pellets at your current tune and give the new parts and springs a chance to settle in. Then revisit the chronograph and see if things tighten up.

My Fx crony will throw random numbers sometimes, my favorite is when it says one number and displays another, it’s a great reference, but I won’t tune with it, make sure the batteries are above 50%, mine gets really bad after that, my other two crony’s tell me I’m not crazy when that happens. i bet you can shoot 2-3 in one hole & the next 1-2 will shoot high,low or left-right then back to hole in one again ??? my 22 fx crown does the same thing.i have spent hundreds on shooting chronys,pellets,hammer springs,regulators, gauges.tryed about all i know & read in the last 2yrs. now have a new labradar & hawke airmax 30 with new fx rings.with no success.please let us know if you figure it out? tks

Beyond the gun refinements. Pellets. Weight, diameter, lube and single loading each pellet. Also the Crono it self light or reflect distance from muzzle of different ammo. Many considerations other than gun.

If you didn't weight sort and size all heads the same, you have to add those in as more factors. Have you tried working with the valve knob to stabilize the tune?

I am having similar problems with my Impact X 25. I am shooting 5 shot groups at 75yds. at 1" dots. The rifle will generally group on the dot but about 50% of the groups have one flier that opens the group to about 1.3" - 1.5" The next shot will hit the dot again. I am at 145 reg., wheel on A, and valve at 4. Wheel set at Max or 5 had more fliers. Valve set on 3.5 and 3.0 did not improve groups. I'll be watching this post and hopefully get some ideas.

Mu accuracy has been pretty good too, but it bugs me as to why i keep getting those odd changes in velocity so far from my average.
