That's pretty slick, but to me looks like you could just back out the original FX plunger a little to reduce the tension?
But I haven't experimented with this at all so I haven't a clue.

Nice, but most of us dont have the means to make these things. So make a bunch and sell them along with the other part you showed us awhile back. PUt me as 1st on the list if you are willing to ship to the USA. PM me if you have one to sell.

All the ball detent does is emulate a second stage. Threading it in and out, with lengthen or shorten second stage. Not reduce trigger pressure
this is the weakness in the system he is trying to address.

What thread size is the oem plunger?
im wondering if a guy couldn’t cut the back with a lathe, remove the spring and ball, and thread if with a tiny set screw?

Possibly because that would remove the hex key socket.
Would have to slot it for a flat screw driver.
but even then it would be hard to hold it in place to adjust the spring tension.

Just to give an idea, the OEM trigger parts are designed and function that way how it is....not much you can improve there only polish some surfaces and that is it, don't waste your time.
You can only re-design the entire trigger assembly with new components inside that limited place = pocket. The next challenge will be finding the right materials, machining, heat treatment, R&D, several revisions, and we can talk again in a next while

I am already thinking on redesigning the trigger as I agree with you that the inherent design of the trigger demands a redesigning with a better lever release system.
However whatever I could do with the existing design I have shared in the video.

The FX trigger design is strange. And I agree, there is limited opportunity for significant improvement, while keeping it safe and reliable. I expect they had several goals in mind: cost, simplicity, reliability. And I believe it does a credible job in those areas, probably satisfactory for the general use most owners need. But the geometry of leverage cannot be denied, and the best multi-lever triggers are far superior to this thing. But, they are not simple or cheap, and they require some operational knowledge for safe adjustment. FX appears more focused on having new gadgets, so I will be surprised if they do the redesign necessary for a high quality precision trigger.

I have replaced the trigger on my xbow a while back, triggertech has a relatively big selection lately, the function and the finish is eye opener.

No, but you can buy one and revers engineer it for FX
Seriously? I don't think many owners would find that to be a practical solution. It would be less expensive to sell the FX and buy a rifle with a good trigger.

I would like to either lighten the 1 stage or get rid of it completely I hate 2 stage triggers there ok if the first stage is really light but otherwise I don't like them at all and try to adjust it out of my triggers the best I can and still have the safety working correctly . I haven't played with the impact trigger at all yet so I'm looking at all the info about it I can
