Hi ronin You need to heat the rear end of the shroud, a lot !!its well.loctited !! Then put the barrel back in the rifle ,lock the barrel with the thumb screw then unscrew the shroud,it needs quite a lot of heat Rgds steve
Thanks folks. Mine was crazy thread locked. I thought I was going to permanently damage the shroud threading getting it off (but I did not). I ended up using lots and lots of heat! :s but it worked.
