FX Impact Shorty

The Impact Shorty. I was just wondering what ways you guys have found or seen. Looking for ideas for when in a truck or woods not so much a beauty contest.

Anybody try the Hugget FX Impact Dedicated Shroud in it's shortest configuration?

If so what's the OAL?

The FX Huggett shroud is excellent and does not need another silencer. Another silencer is just a cosmetic look

What made you go this route?

Anything different in terms of performance or issues? 

Was it just as easy as unscrewing the OEM shroud and putting screwing in the new one?

No issues,same performance, barrel length 500mm / cal.22
When hunting in forest - shorty is advantage

Does anyone know if the DonnyFL Koi can clear the bottle? I think there's a shorter version of the Koi as well but I forgot what it's called. Edit. Thanks Cahil. It's a Tanto.

I have a 600mm barrel and a 700mm but with the shroud length on the deducated hugget shroud it's almost the perfect length when in the woods. Impact Shorty good. 

Does anyone know if the hugget shroud would be the same length for the 600mm as the 500? 

I'd rather bump against the bottle vs the shroud and barrel when in the woods.

The short ones at top look absolutely awful IMO, in fact i go as far as to say they completely spoil the gun, but just my opinion of course.

I am currently using a bigger than stock FX bottle, let alone making the gun smaller.

I have mine set up with a Donny fl koi and it clears the bottle. The tanto is a shorter version of the koi but is not as quiet.

Thats exactly what I was hoping to see. 22 cal right(500mm?) Do you keep it set it up that way all the time? Looks almost perfect imo. Definitely going this route in terms of simple way to get to a short configuration. I don't really know this from experience bcz I've never owned or heard from anyone but the hugget fx impact dedicated shroud looks like it might be best for the 12fpe guys or guys who want a lower power tuned setup? 

I checked it out with one of my Impacts and with a 600mm barrel it already clears the bottle enough to thread a moderator right on with a 1/2x20 unf thread. Doesn't look like you need a "narrower moderator such as Koi or Tanto" or a narrower coned endcap.
