Having played around with my FX Impact .22 & .25 cal, I'm interested in what other have set their Impact to. What pellet & Calibre, what reg pressure, what power wheel (tightened the max setting or not), how have you set the valve opening, velocity/ies. Reading about all the modifications people are undertaking is interesting, but it might as interesting to know what people are doing with a standard Impact. So here is mine:
.22 JSB Diablo 18.13gn, 125bar (approx), power wheel on max, valve third ring just covered, 938-945fps.
.22 JSB Diablo 18.13gn, 125bar (approx), power wheel on min, valve third ring just covered, 916-919fps.
.25 JSB Diablo 34.??gn, 125bar (approx), power wheel on max, valve third ring just covered, 860-872fps.
Haven't tried .25 on min yet. Went to the range this evening to test out the ATN IR scope and new projector using the .22 barrel, very impressed. 15m one small hole, 20m slightly larger hole, 25m started to get a spread. But it was a bit breezey and cccold. Snow in the high country.s
