It looks to me like you will also have a height difference to deal with as well. The rail on the Impact looks higher than an AR rail. Even if your mount would fit the scope may still be to high.

LaRue mounts are made in the US. Top of the line stuff."Tactical"
could be chinese made scope mounts. Burris mounts are made in China also. And they spec them off airsoft guns."Lou"This is what happens when manufacturers rush things, specially due to increased demand, have been seeing this a lot lately in the arigun world.
It may not be an FX fault after all
Yes it is a tad high but to use the mounts and scopes I will need to use them until I buy a lower riser or buy individual 34mm rings which is another $150+. haha... My wife hates my hobbies..."30cal"It looks to me like you will also have a height difference to deal with as well. The rail on the Impact looks higher than an AR rail. Did you take your pictures in mirror? I can't figure out why the logo is backwards. And your lever is on the left side, power wheel on the right? Are my eyes deceiving me?"Ronin001"Rail up date:
First and number one if you have recoil lugs on your rings or one piece mounts please don't cut them off. They have a couple of functions and one day you will wish you had them.![]()
To allow your mounts to fit properly you will need to possibly wait for FX to get make new rails that you can be switched out or You need to "carefully" sand the anodize coating off and a bit more of the Aluminum from the slots of the Picatinny rail.
Now the LaRue mount goes on like butter as it always has!
Good job FX"Ronin001"Yeah Im someone!!!
Ok maybe I'm still a nobody and thats ok but I did get a personal message from FX by Johan which stated "that they are reading the threads" and would like to send a new rail to me that will have the correct Picatinny measurements.
I guess this is a indication that they are standing by their new line and fine tuning the production/specs of the rifle. I also sure do appreciate call/email to obtain the updated part.
So thank you FX
I guess I need to put this rifle through its paces in the next couple weeks....
