I've been watching the several Youtube videos on FX Impact regulator repair. One of the videos I watched was this one produced by Airguns of Arizona. In the video the gentleman strongly claims that performing his procedure will void the warranty. Perhaps this was the FX-USA policy six years ago when it was produced but it is NOT their policy now. Indeed FX-USA claims "Installing the brass regulator piston yourself will not affect your warranty in anyway. We encourage our customers to work on their rifles so they become more familiar with them and get comfortable working on them." So I encourage everyone using Youtube (we all do!) to check the production dates of the videos to attempt to make sure the information is still valid.
ALSO - Airguns of Arizona is no longer an FX dealer. Does anyone know why?
