FX FX Impact Re-seal Question

Anybody out there ever had any experience sending a FX Impact in for a complete re-seal? I talked to Pyramid and their first response is a caution on how long it would take to get it back. Is there a best place to get this done that won't take forever? I would love to do the work myself, but my vision will not allow it.

Utah airguns is the FX repair place since FX USA closed. I'm really thinking about sending in my MK2 impact to get the regulator rebuilt if the dental picks won't get the PITA Oring in the regulator bore out.

You own a FX, the best thing to do is to learn how to do it yourself. It’s not hard there a lot of YouTube videos out there. The job is super simple. By sending it in, your only missing out on valuable time of having fun.

Keep at it, use a strong sharp curved pick, and you’ll get the darned thing out. It can be frustrating, but it’s nothing you can’t accomplish with persistence.

I've got dental picks waiting in my PO box for me to pick up. Wife has to go into town tomorrow so she'll pick them up then.

If your impact is still under warranty send it to utah. If not being from Florida send it up to Newman at cape fear airguns in N Carolina.

I finally got the PITA Oring out. The dental picks I received today did the trick. I couldn't believe how easy it just came out!

The guy who owned it was doing shady things from what I remember.
