Has anyone had issues with the Impact probe sitting too low and not going into the transfer port cleanly, if the fun is tipped upside down it aligns correctly wheck cocking and cycling the probe, but in the normal position it catches the bottom of the transfer port and is guided in. Did you have an easy solution to this. It looks like the actual cocking probe mechanism is sitting too low, because of the play in the rod and flat guide section ..

Yes I have a Mk2 and Mk3 impact and on the Mk2 the probe carrier has always appeared to sag slightly lower than the Mk3 . This causes the probe to slight catch the bottom of the transfer port before being guided in... I was thinking of maybe adding a small piece of brass shim on top of the block to raise the raise the probe carrier bar slightly...

Are you sure the pellet probe itself isn’t dropping down? Adding the shim might make the cocking effort less smooth

Your cocking rod, that ties the front cocking block to the rear probe block carrier, may have a slight upward bend to it, which would angle the pellet probe tip downwards.
