I used the plural valve seats for a reason

That's about the same way mine looked but it wouldn't hold pressure a lot of the time. FX USA replaced it without issue though.

Have Power Plenum Kit on the way. If the seat

looks like this, should one try to polish it for a

smoother finish?

Sending back to FX is not an option from Africa.

Nice work Vadimas, may I ask what angle your polishing tool is and what is on the end of it. It kind of looks like pieces of sand paper. I have one that I'd like to clean up.

The angle is 48 °.
there is glued paper 1200 for wet work

then I glued 2500 paper,it’s a very meticulous job

I used ballistol grease instead of water when polishing, it does not allow the paper to burn quickly.

Think I may have gotten lucky...

No visible gouging on the valve seat.

YAY!

The valve seat actually looks much better in real life: the macro photography and

using the flash makes the machining marks look much worse than it is IMO.

What do you guys think?
