Time to tinker. I'm not getting speed that fast with heavies. Maybe I'll try putting regulator right on the 150 bar line. Valve currently at 4 lines.
While I was tinkering I did notice my barrel has about a1/8 inch of play even with barrel screw tightened. Meaning the barrel can slightly spin. Does anybody else's barrel slightly twist with little force or is it very firmly in place?

Mine is firmly in place.
And the Impact barrel Canadian edition is a fixed shroud and the barrel is longer than US .

GQ, i thought you posted you are very happy with your accuracy, if so why would you want to push the pellet faster? It has been proven many times just because you can push a pellet faster doesn't mean you should push a pellet faster. Just curious?

No I dont wish to push faster at all. I have found the sweet spot for my Impact and will keep it that way.

I have read reports that EK Heavies group best around 850-860 fps. 910 might just be too fast and cause instability. IMO.

Cg, we are in the same boat my friend, damn near the same everything on my gun. I'm shooting jsb heavies 880 Fps ave. For 55 very consistent shots. My gun two is at 150 bar on the regulated side. At 75 yds it puts a dime size hole, where ever I'm aiming. I do love that about it. But I haven't yet been able to stretch it to 100 yds with the same results. Sas

JSB EK Heavy 33.9gn. Ave Vel.= 805 fps
JSB EK 25gn, Ave V=902fps
Regulator gauge reads 120 bar
New owners manual states Reg. pressure @ 143 bar, max
I think I'm way low.

Last night I made the decision up the regulator pressure. It should have been set properly at the shop but when the shipment came in they were in the middle of the Extreme Benchrest Comp. so I guess they were tied up but wanted to get these out to customers ASAP and may have overlooked it.
I'm hoping that the gauge is somewhat accurate so I set it to what looks like 140 from what looked like 120 bar. It got dark outside so waiting til tonight I'll test it. As long as I can get to 855 fps with 33.95 gn Heavies at setting 5 I'll be happy and go no further.
I took out the slack on the Power Wheel as per Ernest's video and the valve is at 4 so it's got to be the regulator being too low....fingers crossed!

My regulator was around 120 on delivery and I turned it up to about 140-143 by eyeballing it. I get an average of 858 fps with Heavies and the top speed was 865 on MAX.

Mine being set at 151 give me 890 fps average with MK II 33.95 grains.
at 140-143 that explain your 865 fps.
