Fx Impact performance.

Hi guys. What MV do you get from FX Impact in .30 cal on JSBs 44 and 50 grain ?

the same question regarding JSB king heavies mkII in .25 cal. 

I cant get out of impact performance as described on FX website (110 joules for .30 cal).

On .30 cal, 44 gr JSBs I got 915-930 on max power with one mark hotter than factory setting on the transfer port adjuster. I did not test for accuracy there and have not experimented with any other adjustments than the gun came with. I got around 90-100 shots(at least 6 magazines) on the first bottle of air(#5 spring setting) before it came off the factory reg setting of 140 bar. I did accidently over fill it to what I had in my fill bottle, about 4400 PSI. FYI, Probably the most shots on a fill with a .30 cal ever. Doesn't appear to have hurt anything, although probably not good for the bottle.

How do you know? Factory gauge does not show pressure very precisely. There is noticeable difference between readings from gauge on gun and gauge from air tank valve.

Steeve, where is transfer port adjuster? I can find main valve adjustment, hammer spring adjustment and regulator adjustment.

Gmg, Sorry, I meant the air volume adjustment, whether on the Impact, that is the transfer port or valve opening , I don't recall.

I can get out average 43 shots per fill with jsb 3.25 g/ 50 grains. Average mv is 251.4 mps. It's 824.8 fps. It's about 103 joules. So to achieve performance stated by fx I miss 10 mps or 30 fps. 

Any ideas where to find missing power? 

Every setting is maxed out. Hammer spring is regulated as Ernest showed some time ago in his video.

Ok. I got 266 mps. Played a little bit with hammer spring regulation. I can achieve 115 joules now.

Lol. GQ I'm not an idiot. Power wheel was on max. Had to manually screw inn this little screw which is on the left from the power wheel.

Guesswork. Obv without a digital manometer you are guesstimating. I might adjust it higher when I get my 30 barrel.

Max safe pressure is 150 atm. Wouldn't recommend higher.

Aren't you guys spraying pellets all over the place with the power maxed out? My spread is a few inches or more @60 yards with unsorted pellets at max. I can only get tighter groups with slower speeds.

No sir! Best results around 270 mps!

My regulator set from factory show 152. I am sure it is not 152 but 145 or so.
My power wheel is set at 4
Valve with 4 lines visible.
.25 caliber
With JSB MK II 33.95 grains I have an average of 890 fps.
I group 10 pellets inside 1/2 inch and less.
