FX Impact pellet probe problem

I just finished drilling out the broken screw on the pellet Probe block, tapping and installing a larger screw. I noticed that although the block can fit either way in other words it will reverse . the probe screw is offset by about a 16th of an inch I failed to measure or notice this when I took it apart but I took some time to measure my transfer port clearances and put the short end to the rear my gun. loads better shoots better than it ever did I think either the screw was broken when I bought the gun or the probe wasn't straight when I bought the gun. The gun did shoot rather well but it had discrepancies and always had some slight loading issues. The reason I was messing with the probe is that I bought a 700 mm Barrel to be delivered in the future and I thought I might want to figure out if this thing would come apart. Good thing I did. Has anyone else noticed this variation on the probe set screw?
after repair and little tuning I put 14 out 16 mark 2s in a pellet tin lid @ 110 yds.10 rds in 1 1/4"

I had I problem with mine being loose and not properly aligned to the barrel. You put a bigger set screw in the block and probe.. awesome idea and I'm come tomorrow morning I'll be on the drill press doing the same thing.
I actually didn't have any loading issue. My problem was it was really loose so snugged it all up. Well when I snugged it up it made the probe not align with the barrel. I think that had to do with the flat head bold on top cause I loosened that and the whole probe shifted in place.
I'm thinkingif I drill and tap a bigger set screw it should help like it did for you. I'm hoping. I haven't actually took the set screw all the way out so I don't know if it's broke, bent or anything good time to find out

did your accuracy change? I went from 1in groups at 50 to less that 1/2in at 50 now. I was amazed how much the probe plays a role in accuracy.
