Fx impact noise after a shot

Just got my new FX impact X Mk2 in .25 caliber and everytime after taking a shot I hear this sliding noise is that normal? I'm thinking it's just the hammer spring sliding back? But idk I'm still new to FX air rifles. If anyone has experienced the same noise or have any Info I'd be much obliged thanks.

They all do it, the hammer floats until cocked, totally normal.

If it's a squeaky sort of noise it's the regulator refilling/recovering after the pressure drop in the plenum from the shot. It's no problem - listen and you'll hear in in most of the scope cam footage on YouTube hunting videos where they use Impacts or Crowns.

The hammer spring only moves back when you make it by cocking the gun

The sliding noise only happen when they have it un-cock and shake the gun. It has a plastic spring guide that will slide around making the noise. If you are hearing something when you shoot. It is the squeaky noise from the regulator being fill back up from the bottle. Sometime it will be more noticable than other. Usually hear it louder when pressure is lower.

Its a de-bouncing hammer design thats doesn't allow preload on the valve pin while uncock. The design allows the hammer to bounce back and loose power to prevent the hammer from reopening the valve to make the gun air efficient.
