Tuning FX Impact MKII Detuned for Best Accuracy

I recently detuned my Impact MKII .30 caliber rifle I named Helga for best accuracy rather than the most power. She is now shooting the FX Hybrids at an average velocity of 1072 ft/s instead of the 1105 ft/s from before I detuned her. I detuned her to set her back to shooting these Hybrids for best accuracy into one teeny tiny hole again. Stacking them into on tiny hole is more appealing to me right now than shooting them at highest power.

I made a little video today with my cell phone to show my chronograph results while I was shooting the first ten shots but I can't figure out how to upload it here. My Average Velocity was 1071.9 ft/s and my Standard Deviation was .07 ft/s. I was shooting pretty quickly and not allowing much time between shots... Gotta love these FX Hybrids! :)

Oh yea the accuracy at 1072 ft/s is like shooting a laser at 50 yards...just shot after shot stacking on top of the ones before it. I am hoping our local 100 yard rifle range becomes user friendly again soon so I can stretch her out there and see what kind of groups I get. I wish someone here could tell me how to upload the 2 minute video I made today with my phone...I uploaded the video to my Google Photos and then downloaded it to my computer's Download Folder - I can email it to people but I can't figure out how to show it here. Does anyone here know how to do that?

You should use a YouTube account and just upload and mark the video unlisted. Only if you share the video link will folks be able to view it.

Thank you sir! Down below is a link to the video I made yesterday with my cell phone - Thanks to Moistone for giving me the idea to upload it to YouTube...it wasn't hard to do at all. Anyway, from the video you can see the insane consistency possible with these FX Hybrids and the FX STX Superior Liner with 1:22" twist, combined with a well tuned FX Impact MKII. It's not possible to buy an Impact .30 that performs like mine...but the FX Impact is the the foundation upon which you can build a rifle that performs as well as mine. She is hot to trot is she not? :)

Thanks I appreciate you saying so...to keep her quiet I'm using a DonnyFL Shogun and it really does a good job. Thanks for the tip about turning my phone sideways to make a video...I wondered about that. As for tuning, that only takes a little knowledge but a lot of patience and a love for tinkering... :)

As a matter of fact I have helped a whole lot of guys get their Impacts or Wildcats tuned up over the phone, because like me they wanted to learn how to work on their own gun rather than send it out for tuning. Many times guys get to playing around with their adjustments and get their gun all out of whack and I tell them how to fix it. Other times a seemingly unsolvable problem is as simple as readjusting the pellet probe depth, or replacing a worn out spring, etc...things they wouldn't have thought of but that would have cost them an arm & a leg to ship it out to someone for repair.
