FX Impact MKII cocking behavior

Remove the pellet probe, and remove the barrel.
Take your pellet probe and insert it into the barrel until the ports match up.

Use a sharp pencil to mark the depth of the probe at the end of the brass portion of the barrel.

re-install your pellet probe and the barrel on the gun and check to see if it lines up correctly?

If not?

Remove the scope rail, remove the cheek rest , remove the top plate to access the rod that is attached to the cocking block. If your model is new enough you should see tiny holes in the rod. You can use these hole to rotate the rod and it will move the pellet probe in or out like a turn buckle. (You may be able to just turn that rod by hand.)

Adjust it until the line you made on the probe lines up with the end of the barrel when the cocking handle is fully closed.

These guns require a fair amount of adjustments to get every thing correct.

Also that rod used to adjust the probe engagement is sort of loose and easily turned so your probe over time may be prone to movement. If you're up to it? Remove the rod and install a bit of Teflon Tape to the threads of the rod to ensure that it doesn't randomly move on you over time.

Good Luck!
