I do believe that’s in it factory. I love mine. Had every intention of using slugs but the 44.75 shoot so well I can’t bring myself to touch it just yet.

It'd be nice to find one chart with all the available barrels. I have a .30 slug liner, interested in how that stacks up against the new superior and what is 'heavy'?

MonsterMaxx, In a 700mm 30cal the Superior is 1:37 and the same 700mm in the Superior Heavy which I thought was for the heavier slugs (not sure what they would consider heavy) is a 1:22 twist so much faster. Do you remember what your Slug liner was? I know it's a little hard to keep up with for sure.

No, I don't remember, bought it about 6mo ago. Just checked the package, no markings on twist rate.

I've emailed FX, will post up when I get a response so it'll all be in one place. I was able to find the pn (FX20234) of the liner, but even searching that didn't come up with a twist rate.

So you have .30 with 500mm barrel? What FPS do you achieve? What is the total length of the gun with a silencer?

From FX: The twist rate for the .30 700mm STX slug liner is 1:26, and the twist rate for the Superior Heavy 700mm .30 is 1:22.

As I received it from Tony at Talon Tunes it’s shooting the 44.75 at 870 FPS. At some point I’ll ring the bells and sound the whistles but it’s performance at 100yrds I couldn’t bring myself to do anything but order more pellets.

Tape measure puts it at 29.5”

What is your silencer? Does it make a gun backyard friendly?

The FX by DonnyFL. I wouldn’t really call it backyard friendly both by sound and certainly energy. Back 40 stealth if I had to call it anything.
