FX Impact MKII (.30 cal) magazine and NSA 50 gr HP-DB, 300 Cal slugs

Is anyone else having issues with their Impact .30 cal magazines not loading the NSA 50 gr HP-DB, 300 Cal consistently? It seems mine are fairly loose in the magazine and when I advanced to the next slug sometimes the slug has turned over on its side. I'm not sure if I have to adjust my magazine somehow to have them reliably feed into the impact, or if I have to just ditch the magazine all together and make a single shot tray on my printer. I'll take pictures later and post them on here.

I very much want to get into slugs, is your issue unique to the ammo or slugs in general?

Kohersh, it seems to be an issue with my magazine. I've never had an issue with the JSB Diabolo Exact pellets in 44.75 gr and 50.15 gr. I'm going to take Nielsenammo's suggestion and try to 3D print a better fitting insert for the magazine.

I think its a certain size/shaped slugs problem. Several of the .25s do the same thing. With slugs i have no problem using a single shot tray as im not spitting them out fast.

Im guessing you have a fx mag right? The side shot mags are just a hair tighter and dont do that. But yes that happened to us as well. Same slugs with the factory mag. Its the only time ive ever had a slug turn. It seems its 30 cal specific at least. Our 25s and 22s never had a slug turn in the mag regardless of maker.

Keith, I'm using the new FX Impact MKII side-shot magazines. I've got two of them and I have the same issue with both in that the slugs seem to be a loose fit in them.

Now just messing around this afternoon I found out that if I load these magazines with the slugs and alternate them with the JSB (44.75 gr) pellets the slugs seems to stay in place (i.e., slug + pellet + slug + pellet ...).
