Some nice shooting Bob. I am amazed at how far the Airgun world has advanced in the past 4 years. These shots/groups were not even possible then. Excellent shooting and I look forward to your videos that demonstrate what you have just practiced at the range. Thanks for producing and sharing your time with us man.

Wouldn’t believe it unless I saw it. I saw it! Great shooting Bob, thanks for the insights. You are on the cusp of that first 200 yard pigeon. The pigeons are going to get smoked from a long distance.

Bob. VERY impressive shooting and I give you all the credit. I would never even attempt that unless it was dead calm and I doubt if I could duplicated your shooting under any circumstances BUT if you had posted a pigeon silhouette especially at 200 yards I don’t think you could have claimed as many kills . (Unless your pigeons are bigger then the ones I shoot at 
)Another way of saying that is what is the size of the kill zone on a pigeon? It isn’t three inches do ya think? I’d say more like half of that.
On a windless day there is no reason for me to question that you couldn’t shoot an inch and a half at 200 which blows me away (pun intended)
You need to print out some life sized pigeon targets post them at 200 and find a dead calm day and shoot’m

The difference between 100 and 200 with an air rifle is enormous. Frankly to shoot 3 inches at 200 I would expect you would need a 1/4 inch at 100 Thoughts on that Or maybe the conditions improved a little.

Another enjoyable video. You are just like me in as far as not necessarily loving doing the range work but knowing it helps in the end with the pest shooting. Did you say you did a switch from bare slugs to lubed during the range work. If so I would think that might contribute to a different impact point. Looking forward to you making that 200 plus yard shot. Bill

Interesting to see that’s for sure as there is no footage of target shooting being done by anyone shooting slugs. I been on the fence of getting back into the Airgun thing. I am waiting on some more feedback from the general airgun population.

They were freshly lubed just before leaving the house for the range. The lube on the other slugs has had days to dry. Silicone spray.
