Fx impact MK2

i have some problems with my impact mk2, it has a ES of 60fps over the chronograph and it effects my poi, i have tryed almost every tuning combination i could think of, i think it is the regulator, so i took it out and cleaned it and relubed it and it diddent do any thing.

i have checked that the reg, hammerspring, and valve dont move when shooting, the reg pressure are also stable.

do you guys have any ideas?

when i bought it i had to send it back becouse of the extreame spread and groups, it also had the old type gauges and a 500mm barrel and not the 600mm the the .22 mk2 should have, so i am not happy with sending it back one more time.

another thing i noticed was my serial number is 180819, do that mean that its not the AMP regulator?

…Generation 3 Impact X's (after Serial Number 183534) have the long (16mm) piston and large (10mm) housing (These are called AMP regulators)

Generation 2 Crowns (after Serial Number 180760) had the long (16mm) piston and the large (10mm) housing (These are called AMP regulators)…

The AMP regulators are able to be adjusted down without releasing pressure, but it is still recommended to fire at least 1 shot every 1/4 turn while adjusting down, to ensure nothing goes wrong.

Sorry to hear of your issues spyde82. I like FX and have an Impact X .25 700mm. In the beginning I experienced a few hiccups that I got through. However, I have been saying that FX need to stop working on new models and step up on the Quality Control of their existing ones, especially the IMPACT which is not cheap. Check the guns before giving the stamp of approval. Your business depends on guys like us.

60fps spread is a lot. My impact 25 cal does have up to 30-40 fps spread on the reg. Idk how the heck people claim their impact have like 5-10 fps spread. Or they lying. Usually 20 fps spread is acceptable. Any more and you will have poi shift at long range. I kept my gun just cause I didn't want to deal or bother getting return number and have to pay shipping back. And it wasn't a big deal like the gun is broken. But even 30-40 fps spread I wasn't too happy since I spend $2000 on it.

What did you actually lube? Lubing hammer is not advisable. Also have you checked how it is tuned? Like what is the max speed in relation to the speed of the pellet? You can not always count on the gauges when tuning as they are not always as accurate, so use the chrony numbers as reference. If you follow the FX tuning method, you should normaly end up with good chrony numbers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K9uG2KOPt0

Yes i have watch all the videos. I can easely get it to shoot hole on hole on 50m but after a couple of shots it is all over the place again. Every time i sight in my scope then it is of again and i can start over. It was then i notest the ES on my chronograph. today was a good day only ES of 38fps in 10 shot strain I have shoot around 1500 shots now with the same result.

no i did not lubricate the hammer, i just cleaned the washers on the regulator and inspected for any thing that could throug if of.
