Fx impact mk2 gen 3 high pressure regulator and wika gauges Problem

Hello

I set my regulator 140 bar wika gauge. After 10 shots the gauge shows 130-135 bar. I went to the range today shot a tin of slugs 140 reg 1035 fps. After 400 shots reg was 130 and velocity 1015-1020. And one other think i noticed after the 10 shots and reg goes down when i fill the gun again to 250 the reg goes to the same place.

You think if i upgrade to huma power hammer spring to hit the valve harder will fix the problem?

Definitely a Regulator issue. So it starts at 140 and falls down to 130-135?

It takes way to long to back at 140

Had the same issue with a wildcat MK3 reg. Had a test gauge hooked up and worked to set at 150 bar. Would creep up to 157ish over and hour. Shooting it would drop 10 bar over a few shots and have trouble getting back to 150. Had to swap out to a Huma reg or rebuild the Amp. Chose to change out.

Mine does not creep. When i shoot it drops. If i let the gun for some time the reg will recharge full. It seems like the it needs more on ghe hammer spring to unload all the air from the reg?

That is what regulator creep is. When you shoot it , it drops below what you had it set at. Then when you let it sit for awhile it goes back to where it was. Either rebuild your amp or install a huma. And yes after so long the huma will also need rebuilding. It’s a fairly easy job to rebuild the amp and also reasonably priced.

If ur reg pressure fluctuates rebuild ur reg. 


sometimes all it take is replacing 2-4 orings 

however, if the reg was adjusted down under pressure then u may also have to replace the piston.
