Fx impact Magpul forend grip and Atlas bipod mount

Hi all,If you think like me that the bipod is not enough far on the fx impact you can buy an american defense AD-170S base and make 2 holes on a picatinny rail (4,2 mm) (I bought one 6,5 inches on browells shop). Then using a 5mm tap you create a screw thread.With 2 5 mm screw, It is very solid and you can add a forend grip (an AFG2 Magpul).Hope you will understand and if not see the pics below …Bye

I am not sure I understand why you have to drill 2 holes on the picatini rail.
You mean the Impact rail ?
Explain please.

No, just on the picatinny rail. The American Defense base AD-170s like the Larue or the A.R.M.S. has just holes and you must fix the base on the rail. 
The only one rail made by them with screw thread is too short ...

His fill port is clear of the modifications. You can see the fill nipple just behind his attachments in the next to last photo.

Maoboss that is a really nice setup for the Impact. Thanks. I might have to try my own version. What is the bag you are using to carry? Do you have to remove barrel to fit it in there? Thanks again, I'm inspired to make my own now.
