FX IMPACT M3 WIKA OR NOT? Rephrased to M3 NIGHTMARE

Chris - I'm not targeting FX specifically, but this thread was started about an FX. Believe me I've gotten plenty of airguns in poor condition from the factory. Ataman BP - TP restrictor was not removed and I couldn't shoot over 200fps. Barrels still filled with grease and gunk. Etc. It happens across all brands - as long as the company makes it right so that you as a consumer are happy with the purchase it's all good.

Understood and I agree.

I didn’t think you were targeting FX specifically, just as my comment was a general one.

I keep wanting to buy another brand of high end airguns but somehow end up getting another FX :)

And exactly why I ended up going with a Uragan. Bull Tank strong, ultra accurate and hell bent for stout. POI does not change. Even in woods hunting. I don't have to check the impact point every time I need it. Nuff Said!

Bonus, fully lapped and polished CZ Barrel from the factory and all trigger sear parts made and fitted from hardened tool steel. Woah! First AG I've even gone into that needed absolutely nothing but ammo. Lots and Lots of Ammo!

How do you know the barrel comes like that from the factory? I had Vulcan some time ago and the barrel was rough as poop.

Simple really, I both bought it new from the dealer, and talked to the repair rep here in the U.S. as well as the factory engineer at Uragan.

Sorry to hear that, even Toyota makes lemons. To many people’s point FX is designed around new features and really meant to be an adult lego or a toy. It is not super stout and made from solid piece of metal to save weight which is a feature for many. Right tool for the right job, if you want a hammer then get a hammer, if you want fancy multi speed cordless tool with all the crazy add on pieces then don’t expect it to be simple and reliable as a hammer.

In the end customer service trumps all and if in your country you can’t get good service for your FX guns then I wouldn’t buy a FX either. Here in the US they have their own service center thanks to our volume I don’t have to depend on a specific dealer like you to get service which is huge for me. Personally I would not buy an airgun with out the ability to get service directly from the manufacture. That being said I only needed couple of orings and gauges for my 6 FX guns(3 sold) but I still would standby my criteria of direct factory support or no business from me.
