FX Impact M3 trigger slop

The trigger on my M3 has a little bit of slop from one moment to the next. There is a bit of take up of free movement which doesn't reset after I pull the trigger. I had to take out and reinstall my trigger a few times to get to the regulator and I noticed it after the last reinstall, so it didn't gradually develop. This was also after installing the slug power kit with the tungsten hammer, but said power kit didn't immediately cause this issue. The trigger pins are all present and set correctly and the trigger sear doesn't seem to be damaged. Neither does the hammer.

Can anyone see anything obviously wrong with how the various adjustment screws are set from this picture?

sounds like a normal 2 stage fx m3 trigger.

the takeup is your first stage and the break is your second.

you can adjust them so they dont have a first stage if you like.

Take the cover plate off the block that accesses the trigger group. Then watch how your adjustments interact with the spring. A lot of that slop and inability to reset the first stage is caused by not having tension on the spring. You can adjust it to the point it will function, but will not keep tension on the return spring.
