i just curious why fx m3 needs a screw there!?

You will have to heat up that screw with a butane micro torch in order for the factory Loctite to release it, otherwise you will strip the head of the screw... as for why FX has a screw there is for the kit that allows you to install an angled manometer bracket & air gauge on the side of your rifle there that shows your regulator pressure setting. i just curious why fx m3 needs a screw there!?

For the angled manometer as mentioned. I made the noob mistake of using a low quality Allen key attempting to take off that M3x5 grub screw. Stripped it out so horribly and had to send it in for repair to extract it.
