Tuning FX Impact M3 First Regulator Gauge Problems

My M3 has the same problem.

I contacted FX USA and they said culprit is the o-ring on the reg part #19731.

I just received them but have not changed it yet.

I hope this fixes the problem!

The M3 1st regulator piston is the same one as M3 2nd regulator or MKII regulator, the o-ring size is 4*1.5 NBR70(part #19109). Replace it If you have leak from the small hole on bottle connector.

The M3 1st regulator adjust screw o-ring is 2*1.5 NBR90(part #19731). Replace it if overnight you 1st reg pressure increase/creep to almost same as bottle.

Thank you for clearing that o-ring size up!

If all else fails, just make sure you keep your bottle reg under 250bar and use the reg delete from K&L.

I think it's the best way to go anyways for sligging and speed shooting. Having good back pressure behind the second reg is better for consistency. If you are trying to get your second reg down to 110bar or below, then maybe this solution isn't for you, but worth a try.

Mine would actually go up and down over 40 bar while you were watching the guage. Not while shooting, just on its own. It would go from 170 bar to well over 200 and after 15-20 seconds would go back down. then it would repeat this over and over again. Then it decided to just suddenly leak all air out and would not hold air.

I sent it in for repair and they fixed it. It had a faulty first regulator.
