FX Impact M3 Carbon Barrel Sleeve install

I have an FX Impact M3 Sniper 700mm in .22 (Bought it a month ago)

I installed the carbon barrel sleeve (Easy job) but my problem is that there were only 2 o-rings on the barrel and not 3.

I carefully inspected the barrel sleeve, I could not find a 3rd o-ring stuck inside.

The carbon sleeve installed fine with no problems.

Is it possible that FX now only install 2 0-rings on the barrel and not 3?

Anything is possible. Maybe they just missed one during install. Either way it doesn't matter. I went the barrel sleeve route too. I can't remember how many o-rings came out.

I noticed the same thing when I installed my CF sleeve - only two o-rings.

I had 4 O-rings in my Dreamline ...Not to worry, you would know if one was stuck down there.

crazy you would think fx would have little more commen brains in the factory sure not a oring shortage i wouldnt think

I'd say Yes. A note, there are people using glues and silicon to put the sleeves on. They won't set, they require air. Use 2 part epoxy. Honestly, I haven't seen a lick of difference between before and after on my Maverick VP .25. Ok it MAY have straightened out the liner a bit.

well im sure thats the case a 500mm gets 2 a 600mm gets 3 so you would think a 700 would get 3 also
