FX Impact M3 brass regulator pistons = higher reg pressure?

The type of piston has almost nothing to do with the maximum regulator setpoint.

The max pressure is dictated by the Belleville washer arrangement, the hammer and hammer spring’s capacity to knock the valve open at higher pressures, and the maximum safe working pressure of the plenum.
I've installed the Tungsten hammer. Upgraded with the new 'power block' kit as well. Just ordered brass pistons from FX. That being said, to achieve higher than 170 reg pressure (safely), the washers around the brass piston would have to be upgraded? Do both regulators need to have washers and pistons changed out or just the 2nd?
