My m3 regs keep dropping pressure on the first 4-5 shots. Reg 1 starts at 160 bar by 5th shot it drops to 125 bar. Reg 2 starts at 140 and drops also to 125 bar. Replaced orings and piston on reg 1 , didn’t help. Has anyone else had this problem or might know the cause of the problem. It’s just weird that both regs continually drop until 125 bar. Any help or information would be appreciated.

I'd definitely say your first reg is definitely a problem. Your second reg can be fine as it won't get any more pressure than what your first one puts out. Could be your first is really at 125bar and creeps up to 160bar. Definitely excessive but can't be ruled out.

Dairyboy you may be right, sounds like the first reg is not working and it’s letting pressure drop to what the 2nd reg is set to. I bought it from a fellow member and didn’t have the paperwork with it ,so fx won’t help me without it .

Thanks for the offer fx usa, but I found the problem. It was the oring inside the reg body. I replaced it and that fixed the problem. That oring is a pain to take out and install. I had to make a special tool to do it. So if anyone else has this problem, hopefully this can help. Thanks again everyone for your input
