Fx impact m3 barrel thread protector

Just wanted to know if a barrel thread protector

came with your impact m3? Also did a warranty or registration

Card come with it? Basically what all came with the impact m3?

I had the Donny moderstor on mine, a manual and magazines. I don’t think you need to register the warranty I think it’s done by receipt or I think they have a data base with serial numbers for warranties. I think it has an automatic manufacturing warranty of 3 years.

Arrived last week with moderator (not in red cardboard tube like Wildcat), a magazine, M3 owner's manual, foster fitting and two FX stickers. Missing thread protector, though manual shows on diagram and describes in narrative. Contacted dealer, he checked three other M3s, none with thread protectors. He has call into FX.

It's kind of hit or miss with the thread protectors. I ordered two M3's from two different vendors - both came with a DonnyFL FX moderator and one came with a thread protector and the other did not. No warranty cards on any of the Impacts I've gotten...

Just called fx usa. They told me only the compact. Impact m3 comes with the thread protector. Wow spend 2250.00 and some models don't get a 10.00 cap.

From Page 26 of the M3 Owner's Manual:

10.2 Muzzle Thread (50)

"Covered by a thread protector is a 1/2" thread for air gun silencers (variations may occur). Simply unscrew the cap to get access to the thread."

I guess "(variations may occur)" means might not get thread protector. + 1 for Locksmith.

I can confirm this; my 0.22 600mm M3 did not come with a thread protector but my 0.25 500mm compact M3 did. Seems a little ridiculous that a $2k doesn't include a $10 part (that probably costs $1 to make)...

My M3 compact came with a thread protector. You can always order it from fx-usa or get one from UA $20.

No, bought a rifle that cost $2000 and they won't include a $10 thread protector. I'm trying to buy one now, dont know the cost yet.

Just bought my M3 a few days ago. No thread protector for mine either. Emailed FX and was informed that they don’t come with thread protector if they are equipped with the moderator. Was also informed that I could order one if I so desired.

Yeah don’t worry about warranty registration. They just go off the serial number for date of manufacture. I just had some work done on a Maverick that I bought second hand and it was all covered under warranty based on serial number.
