Fx impact m3 .30 cal

My m3 didn't like 43 47 . 49 grains was hit and miss. Didn't try 54 gr. Polished barrel like I saw on u tube. Barrels trashed now. Current using heavy super barrel. Same thing.but it shooting vary good with 54 gr nsa . Their the older ones and have lead in the hollew point but shooting good groups at thirty yards. 945 to 950. I'm going hunting tomorrow. I also glued liner to fiber sleeve don't know if it help yet.

If you are getting 60 shots shooting the NSA 47.2 gr slug 951fps that sounds good.

I get 50 shot with my M3 Sniper in .25cal shooting the NSA 36.2gr slug 980fps.

1st reg 170bar, 2nd reg 135bar, micro@ 4.5, macro wheel @ 14 value adjuster@ 4th line or 10mm.

What is your setup?

I have been shooting the NSA 47.2 and 49.5 out of my MKII w/standard superior liner with excellent accuracy shooting from 950 to 1000fps.

Yeah my m3 likes 54 gr nsa. With heavy liner. Also got two quails. First reg at 175 second at 155. 950 fps.

Are you guys shooting any of those 47.2 and 54.5s with the new base design that came out around time of their move this summer? New design has thinner base edges and no bump in the middle any more. I had a single pack of the old 47s that shot great, so I ordered more to fine tune and got the new design. Old ones were around 1MOA without any fine tuning. New ones are 2.5-3MOA at best for me. I have some of the new 54s but still have to try them in the 1:18 barrel. I'm going to give one last shot on the 47s at really high velocity just for kicks but don't have a lot of hope. I'm trying to keep my reg pressure for slug tune at or below 150 so that I can get at least 2 full mags off a fill.

Here are my notes on the new NSA 47.2gr (just for speed reference since I was unable to get accuracy):

valve full open (1.5 turns out from 4th line)
Reg 138b
Macro 16
Micro 4.25 minus 1 click
Actual speed at above settings: 941
Max speed at above reg pressure (micro set to 5): 973
