FX FX Impact M3 .177 - shooting high...?

Hi all,

I searched but couldn't find much... so have to ask this stupid question.

I've just gotten myself a FX Impact M3, 600mm barrel in .177.
Leapers UTG Pro Low scopes have been fitted holding an Athlon Heras SRP.

My question is... at 15m it's shooting 100mm high... at 25m it's shooting 200m high. (and the scope is maxed out in regards to winding down).

How would I fix this? The adjust able FX scope mounts? Another solution?

I've never encountered this before and am at a bit of a loss.

My .177 maverick, which i expanded from the not working 600 mm barrel to 700 mm, well as a shroud and barrel pipe fitting 700 mm was stupid expensive i went the easy route, got a 100 mm extension for the barrel pipe, and instead of the shroud i got 3 carbon fiber pipes that will fit inside each other ( with some sanding ) and then of course the inner one fitting snugly over the barrel pipe.

BUT ! these carbon fiber pipes are not 100 % strait, so depending on how they are clocked my rifle will miss a lot at 50 M
So i have to be mindful about that if i have had my DIY " shroud " off the rifle, but i do have a paint mark on there now.

For cheap you could probably shim your back scope ring so the scope is tilted a bit more down, but adjustable rings is probably the solution ( i also use these myself on my Maverick )

your new Impact have XX MOA build into its scope rail like many others have today, that could be what is playing with you.

You shouldn't have that problem with any low scopes due to the fact that the impact has a 20MOA rail, I've used high, medium and low rings with deifferent scopes and it's never been a issue of enough clearance. Take your barrel off the gun and roll it on a flat surface to make your that it's not bent in any way shape or form.

You Need to talk to Allen Zasadny about that one.....
The Rapid Platform was known for barrel "droop" due to how the barrel is fixed!
So you are using the standard ring setup..You always had to shim the scope!!!
You are only shiming ita couple of thou....
So if cut your shims about 2/3 of the 1/2 circumference...and pay attention to how you are tightening down the rings
You will not harm your scope!!!

Do not count on FX ACTUALLY putting a 20 MOA rail on it. I have two different Mavericks with 0 moa rails. HELLO FX mark your darn parts. Before bending anything put in vice, level barrel and check the rail.. it SHOULD, be going down about 1 bubble width, bubble going towards stock.

I have never checked that, but as i recall with a scope zeroed both turrets, and the 600 mm barrel + original shroud as i recall i did not have to adjust too much on rings for a 50 M zero.
Now with 700 mm barrel and my DIY " shroud " well the shroud need to be clocked right on the barrel, and i need to tension my moderator onto it the same, CUZ otherwise with the DIY carbon fiber shroud not strait, well at 50 M it can be quite a bit off to whatever direction it is clocked to.

Once set and i just have to " zero " the rough parts with my adjustable rings, and then a couple of clicks, and i an good.
It is a mess , but no way in hell was i going to pay FXs price for a 700 mm barrel pipe and accompanying shroud, my tree 1 M long carbon fiber tubes was only a fraction of that price.

Did you tighten everything up? From the transfer port out?

There is no way for the MOA rail to be put on backwards just saying, it's not just a flat based rail with 20 moa built into it.
