Hi, I’m new here so sorry if this isn’t where I should post this, but I’ve purchased a used fx impact and it doesn’t come with the factory foster fitting. Which means I would have to order one. can I use just a normal foster fitting until I get the other one or not? Thanks

there would be no problem if u use the fitting that u have, but I think the normal ones doesn’t fit in the hole where the male sits.
the FXs are smaller in diameter.
But give it a try if yours fits.

TRY yours first before ordering a DONNYFL EXTENDED ONE. The female Fosters come in different shapes and lenghts some easier to use than others. Good Luck. Yo!

Mine normal female foster fitting would not fit and have to use the one that came with my gun.

If yours fits thread wise and has a check valve in it it might be fine. Most foster fittings do not have the check valve inside and there are two or three different thread pitches used. Now combine that with the many Chinese fittings that are not compatible with each other, this should not be, and you see what a predicament you are in.

Please be careful using the incorrect fittings. 200+ bar is a log of pressure. Ance can do a lot of damage to you and your equipment!
