Are the double bottles worth the extra money and weight? I have a .30 that's getting 60 shots on a 250 bar fill which is pretty good IMO. Would I gain more shots or what?

You will definitely get more shots doubling up your CCs however are you wanting to turn it into a bench rest only gun? Balance is gonna be front heavy and it won't fit in it's case and 60 shots IMHO is plenty enough. I'd say the CONS outweigh the PRO in this situation. Good Luck. Yo!

The double bottle is perfect for the bench. For walking and hunting, it's very clumsy and awkward to hold and shoot.

It absolutely makes it heavier but that also adds stability. Awesome for benchrest, you only have to fill it between tins of pellets.
It can still be shot well off hand but not many would want to hold it in position longer than needed.

Its not bad off the bench, I prefer a tripod. Definitely more awkward than the single. Probably not super worth it to be honest. Its not like refilling a single bottle gun is so hard to begin with. Mines on a tripod along with a nearly 2lbs scope and 10oz ronin.. Not something I'd choose unless it was a "stay put" gun.

I bought the double bottle setup for my LCS SK19, but have not installed it yet, as I can't find a case to hold the rifle, with 2 tanks on it. Would be kinda a pain to have to remove, and re-install every time you want to go out to shoot. I bought one of these cases, but no fit.
