We'll chime in here. There is a manufacturer in South America that is trying to manufacturer knock-off Impacts. You can only imagine how those would perform. We have started legal action against the company, and have also served them notice that if they try to ship into the US that we will heavily go after both them and the dealer that wants to go this route (as legal action is more straight forward than in the country they are manufacturing).
This is not good for our industry as a whole and sets a dangerous precedent. We would encourage this manufacturer to simply create their own airgun, even one highly influenced by FX (nothing new there) rather than outright trying to copy and pass off something as FX.
We would ask AGN members to keep an eye out for these type of things and bring them to our attention.
