FX Impact Compact

What do you guys think about it?

Looks like it would be easy to convert it to a full size model for bench resting and back to compact for hunting. 

Trying to decide what to get next, leshiy 2 or compact. Mmmmmm.....

I am having the same thoughts, and the Leshiy 2 seems fun but I feel that I would be loading the 8 round clip a lot being a semi. But the impact mk2 compact will provide 28 shots and as you say it would be easy to covert back to a longer bench gun. I have not been able to make up my mind yet, but with age I like light and short guns better.

Both the impact and the impact compact are the same gun and frame. The only thing different is the compact used a shorter bottle and barrel. So it's as simple as changing out the barrel. Also bottle just unscrew out and has it's own valve so no air lost.

I have the (standard) .22Leshiy w/350mm barrel and a .25 Impact 600mm S/T original barrel, I do like the new Leshiy and may eventually end up with one but... my Impact will out shoot my Leshiy as far as accuracy at least in my hands, particularly at longer distances.

FX MAY offer a Continuum type package, with an 380mm barrel / 300cc bottle along with a 600mm (slug) barrel / 580cc bottle all in the one case.

Then again they "MAY" not.

I think it would be good for my X Sight 4K. Rats and shooting in the barns. The. 25 at 70 ft lbs with the Ares ETR is really a 25 yard and up gun.

I’m on the Fence as well but I already have a FX Crown continuum and I like how light and short the 380mm barrel set up is. But I still want a back pack gun as most of my hunting shots are within 40 yards and in my state of PA the .22 is the only legal caliber for small game so a short barrel is no concern and I have the Crown’s 600mm barrel for bench shooting. We still don’t know if the extra bottle on the Leshiy can be removed without loosing air like the FX. That will be a game changer for me as an extra buddy bottle can be carried in the woods and allow extra shooting at chipmunks and other targets that come along without worrying about running low on air. The 8 shot mag doesn’t bother me either as I would have extra magazines on the gun ready to go. I really like the idea of being able to open the action on the Leshiy and removing the magazine and the gun is safe with no round in the barrel. It’s a huge safety issue that all other Airguns have if you don’t shoot out the loaded pellet. I think it would be possible to have a barrel made in whatever caliber you would want and in what ever length for the Leshiy and have it threaded for a moderator if you would want more FPE . And it shouldn’t have any droop or change in POI as the Dream Tac may incur if mishandled. I’m thinking a 500mm barrel in 30 caliber for ground hog hunting out to 100 yards. The Leshiy 2 is so intriguing to me for what it can be / do, and that is why I’m on the preorder list.
