Does the air tank on the fx impact need to be hydro tested ? Has anyone had a small tank like this tested before ?

I don't know all the facts (spects) but small 480 cc, (roughly 29 ci), CF bottles such as the one on the Impact do not require Hydro testing. I have an 88 ci CF bottle and it does need the test.

In the U.S. , yes. Over 2" dia needs testing tho many will just skip this I believe. People who know exactly just how little moisture it takes to corrode that aluminum liner inside the bottle may well wish to have them inspect, personally I wouldnt run one for years w/out at least a home grown visual. Were I a match director at an event where I carried the insurance "I" would want current hydro dates.

SO hmmm it sounds like technically they do ???? I think the boss and some daystates have been out for a while with a similar bottle , has anyone had any of these bottles test or is anyone concerned ?

Spysir make a compelling argument. Perhaps best to err on the side of caution. We are talking about 250 Bar up close to your face, after all.
