Tuning FX Impact air in gun-both gauges read zero

I tried a search with no productive results. 

FX Impact MK II, installed a Huma reg. And digital gauge on reg. Side.

Went to adjust reg and saw no gauge readings. Tested gauge and replaced with original. Made sure reg was set to lowest setting, I did increase it and heard the plenum fill-after installing 250 bar bottle. Installed bottle, no readings on either gauge. When I take the bottle off, with 150ish bar bottle, it sounds like the plenum empties, unlike the 1 trigger pull to zero air pressure. 

I thought the bottle pressure-150ish- was a suspect. I installed fresh 250 bar bottle with same results. 

Perplexed?

I f you over tighten the gauges, use tools to tighten them, you can crush the nylon/Delrin seal and close the orifice off. Hand tighten only or maybe an eight of a turn with a wrench.

That's about all I can think of.

Thanks for the insight. Makes sense because nothing else did. I'm used to dealing with high pressure fluid systems(3300 psi +) all day. Any straight thread needs tape and a little snug in that world.

I removed both guages and tested during this and was starting to think I'm nuts as well as the post I put up.

Will try tomorrow and close the loop.
