Fx Impact & Air-fective moderator.

Hey guys! 
Do you have any experience with the combo of Fx Impact and shroud with the moderator from Air-fective UK? Worth a shot?

Do you already have an Impact? If so, I'd suggest talking with Neil Clague. He can make you an LDC to meet your needs. I have one of his carbon fiber reflex LDCs on my AA S200- it works/looks great. He has tons of experience, so he can give you advice on length/diameter to meet your specifications.

Hi. I bought a kit from airfective that consisted of inserts and baffles that fit inside my Wildcat shroud.
While it takes a little sound off, it is only around1-2db, and overall not worth the effort/expense.
I have not read any glowing reviews of their moderators or shrouds and I'm not sure the finish would satisfy an Impact owner.

Huggetts and their smaller sister, the Belita are available in europe. They work, they have glowing reviews and can be fitted to a Wildcat if they com with an adaptor. You could look/ask on the Milbro Huggett facebook group to see if they do an FX Impact adaptor, though others have made them.

I asked them (air - fective) about performance of the setup, but they haven't answered yet. 

I'm afraid,that performance is poor if there are no figures on website.

here's mine with the air fective moderator and shroud. If it's not quiet enough, you can just screw the moderator off and the shroud and replace it with a Huggett or belita.

I mean, the Impact was pretty damn quiet already. Most of the noise from me shooting is the pellet hitting the target...for me it's the damn varmints that are infesting my property.

Are you sure? Mine is definitely quieter.

It looks like it's much longer then any other bullpup. Can you measure length of the impact with your setup?

That's why I'm turning to ask friend of mine to make custom shroud with silencer for me. With internals designated especially for the gun. 

I need to quiet down 30 cal especially. In open lands it cracks like a thunder.

I just received my buddies Impact, with the 25 caliber set up on it I am not surprised people want it quieter, it is pretty loud in my opinion. I will be working on it over the weekend to see what can be done to make it quieter. Based on this I expect the 30 caliber to be considerably louder, Neil.

I have airfective on both of my barrels .22 and .30 and they are amazing. If i had to put a number to it its 40 maybe 50 percent quieter in .30 they both work and I love them!

Got today's work done and ready to ship so I will be working on the Impact tomorrow to see what can be made for it. I am thinking of Trying a 1.5 inch shroud from the back of the air tank forwards with the bottom machined to allow it to go over the air tank. If this works I should be able to keep the overall length down, if not then I will have to go with my regular design that opens up in diameter at the end of the air tank. I will keep you informed of the progress and results, Neil.
