I suspected that might be the case for my .30 cal. After switching out to .25 than back to .30. I had to max my power wheel to get the same FPS as I was get at #5.

I "pull thru" with a string and several patches in a row with this set up. A pellet crimped on the string leader to drop down the breach end and then the first patch is wet and two dry patches. Usually one pull and the last patch comes out clean. I have never pulled out the breach 0-ring with this setup.. Moderator does catch the lead pellet and works better to just remove it

Nice innovative trick there far_shot. I usually do 1 wet and 2 dry pulls myself as well but the 3 are done individually. I toss a rod down the barrel and attach a string at breech end long enough to pull through to muzzle without pulling the patch through yet, then with the rod out and string coming through muzzle I pull my patch by hand. Much more time consuming than your method, may have to try it out!

I tried rotating the barrel on my Impact and it didn’t make a difference on mine. Tried center, counter clockwise, and clockwise.
