fx impact 500mm shroud

Ive ended up with a "standard" "500mm barrel" shroud for the impact - its the one where the barrel only goes about half way in. ends up making a 500 barrel looking like a 700!!

Is there anyway I can modify the internals so that I can use it on my 700mm barrels?

As far as I know all of the shorter barrel shrouds will fit on longer barrels fine.?? It werqs the other way around too they just don't fit on the gun afterwards.

A picture would help us understand better.

it has this massive alloy air stripper inside -

so I fitted the end cap back on ( left the stripper out) and it does go on my 30 700

but even if I ignore that its 9cm short - I would still have to drill out the end cap as its from a .177 and the exit hole is 5.5mm!

so I think ii will sell it buy the right one!
