FX Impact .35?

I have been tossing that one around myself but I do agree with redsqnm. I had Tom at High Pressure Pneumatics take my .30 Impact M3 and rework into a .35 with the 800mm STX tensioned barrel, power block and tungsten hammer kit. If you go to his Facebook page Moose is holding it in a photo, he did the work. I was hoping to try it this year myself at 50-75 yard shots before the cold and snow stopped me from getting it sighted in. I have been able to get ProSlugs‘ 80g. .357 lubed solid slugs to run at 960fps. with great accuracy. They also have a 109g. solid slug for the .357 that I really would have liked to get dialed in but it got too cold for me. Without changing anything the 109g. were at 845fps. Running the numbers it works for what Michigan DNR requires but we all have to call our shots. Good luck.

I've had mine up to 975fps with 93 grain nsa's. You will have to modify the internals of the gun to get there though. With that said, I have no doubt it can kill a deer. I would limit my shots to 50 yards and under on large deer though.

With that said, my personal opinion is go for a gun in 45 plus caliber with 400 or more fpe. The 357 impact, while being incredibly accurate when set up right, is a great yote and turkey gun. If you are insistent of a 35cal, then maybe the rattler.
